Behold, the Alpine Manhattan. It was a huge hit around back in the days of our tasting room. This cocktail provide an unusual regional twist, and sophistication to impress any guest, while still being simple enough for the novice home bartender.

• 1 1/2 oz of good bourbon
• 1 oz. DRAM Pine Syrup
• 5 shakes DRAM Black Bitters 
• Brandied cherry garnish

Instructions
Add bourbon, pine syrup and bitters to a martini shaker or mixing glass over ice. Stir OR Shake. The jury is still out on this one, and we suggest you experiment to find out which method your palate prefers. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass and garnish with orange peel or brandied cherries for an added kiss of sweetness.
