17 July 2025 — DRAM Wins Community Choice Good Food Award for Palo Santo Bitters
Celebrating 8 Years of Recognition from the Good Food Foundation
SALIDA, COLORADO – July 17, 2025 — DRAM is honored to announce that our Palo Santo Bitters have been awarded a Community Choice Good Food Award by the Good Food Foundation, marking our eighth Good Food Award in just five years.
This special edition of the Good Food Awards celebrates 15 years of excellence by inviting the public to vote for their favorite past winners. More than 8,000 ballots were cast across the country, and DRAM’s Palo Santo Bitters emerged as one of just 55 winning products selected for their exceptional quality, sustainable sourcing, and ongoing contributions to the good food movement.
“We’re incredibly proud to be recognized by the community that inspires our work every day,” said Shae Whitney, co-founder at DRAM. “The Palo Santo Bitters are especially meaningful to us—crafted with reverence for the ingredients and intended as a tool for celebration, ritual, and well-being.”
The Palo Santo Bitters, a longtime customer favorite, are made with organic herbs and ethically sourced Ecuadorian Palo Santo wood. Free from artificial flavors, preservatives, or sweeteners, they are a deeply aromatic botanical extract with notes of smoke, resin, and citrus. Ideal in cocktails, sparkling water, or as a functional digestive tincture.
The Good Food Awards honor makers across the country who are committed to both flavor and responsibility—environmentally, socially, and ethically. DRAM’s inclusion in the “15 Years of Good Food” Community Choice Awards places us among a select group of past winners recognized for their lasting impact on the food world.
This recognition follows a string of prior wins, including three Good Food Awards in 2023 alone, and underscores DRAM’s continued commitment to excellence in herbalism, sustainability, and American craft.

The winners were chosen through a rigorous blind tasting process from nearly 2,000 entries. These exceptional makers rose to the top on the basis of taste, while also demonstrating an outstanding commitment to sustainable environmental and social practices. This year’s winners represent the forefront of American craft food, making products that are delicious, respectful of the environment, and connected to communities and cultural traditions. DRAM has won a total of 7 awards over the past 5 years, with 3 awards being received in 2023 alone.
“It’s exciting for DRAM! We’re a small company started 12 years ago in the mountains of Colorado, and we’re humbled to be recognized for our commitment to quality.” said Shae Whitney, co-founder, “There’s no other award quite like the Good Food Awards. We won for the taste of the product, but also for our focus on honest ingredients and sustainable business practices.”
The winning products, DRAM Mushroom Cola, DRAM Sweetgrass Sparkling Water, and DRAM Hair of the Dog Bitters are part of a line of beverages that are developed, created, and produced solely by husband and wife team Brady Becker and Shae Whitney. DRAM is somewhat unique in the beverage industry as they make all their flavors in-house from real plants using proprietary processes the two founders developed over the past 12 years. Their products never contain any designer sweeteners or “natural flavors”, which often hide a number of unnatural things and tend to be the main ingredient in similar products.
